Pros:-Ability to heal alone
-Defense against both physical damage and force attacks
-Invisibility!
If you like to solo, this is the one for you. You can make yourself invisible, heal when noone's around (or when there are 8 people trying to kill you), and protect yourself from all forms of damage. Focuses more on self protection than controlling the fight.
[glow=red,3,300]The Dark Side (Cue Empire Music)[/glow]
Pros:-Heal yourself and at the same time restrict your enemies' force use
-Grip, which is a great way to rack up the lava/acid/bottomless pit kills
-That promising "Who needs a lightsaber when you can do it Emperor style" lightning technique. Usually disabled on servers, which there's no reason for.
-Rage! Useful for...well...fun to screw around with at least. Makes blue a killer.
If you're more into crowd control and controlling the fight, this is for you. You can restrict enemy force use, heal much faster than the light side (though you do require the presence of others), grip people off edges (or "Tap-grip" which is a technique used to disable an opponent's saber so you can go in for the kill), and break it out Palpatine style. Tend to die faster, but you take them down with you.
[glow=white,2,300]The Neutral Powers (The Grey Side)[/glow]
Pros:-Force Jump, which is the most invaluable skill for saber combat as it is #1 in the dodge department. Great for getting to those hard to reach places, and it's just plain fun to jump impossibly high.
-Force sight, this will save your life. You know where all your enemies are, even the mindtrickers.
-Push and pull are great for countering push and pull, of course, but they're useful for countering grip and knocking people off edges. That or just pissing them off.
-Force speed is good for getting around, especially when combined with force jump.
This is what I prefer, it's more for the saber combatant. Not much I can say really...speed is too "Clunky", I find, to use properly with sabers, often with the weapon passing straight through your enemy. Being neutral powers they really don't have any cons.

Not much can be said. More is better, always have max defense and max offense whenever possible or you'll be annihilated in saber combat, you'll be mincemeat. Throw is usually disabled, however not on all servers. It guarantees a hit if the person is doing, well, anything. Swinging, using force, rolling, etc. You can only deflect the saber if you're not attacking with a saber and facing the opponent. Sometimes the saber is knocked out of the opponents control, as well.
There are many cheese-tactics that can be used with these force powers, moreso now with JA-Mod. I will discuss these later.
