The practice match didn't go quite as I wanted it to, but these things never do, especially when it's MW fighting MW. The people that signed up were:
Minnow
Sparrow
Tanweth
Paradox
Xaevazt
Taffer
Of those, only these showed up:
Paradox
Taffer
Tanweth (duh)
However, some unexpected people showed up. Morpheus, who said he couldn't come, was able to after all, and joined in the middle of the first (of three) rounds. The recruit Jessica also showed up a little later than Morpheus. In Round 3, the recruit Tree Frog showed up as well.
For some reason, Auron and Taffer were at each other's throats, which caused considerable disruption. My internet also went down in the middle of round 2. Now, as for the scores:
Round 1:
Blue: 50 Red: 47
Individual scores -
Blue:
Tanweth - 23/14 (kills/deaths)
Morpheus - 18/10
Auron - 9/35
Red:
Taffer: 24/25
Paradox: 21/25
Jessica: 2/12
This was an especially close round. At the beginning, Blue was losing, but around the time that Morpheus joined Blue started to overtake Red, until Blue had overtaken them near the end. Both teams did extremely well, though Jessica and Auron weren't much in form, though Auron just isn't fantastic at FFAs. Jessica showed her true skills later.
Round 2:
Blue: 50 Red: 37
Blue:
Taffer: 23/21
Jessica: 14/14
Tanweth: 6/5
Red:
Morpheus: 18/12
Paradox: 14/18
Auron: 10/10
While my score shows as being rather appalling, this is because my internet crashed mid-match. I actually did considerably better, though this was probably still my worst round. The round overall was not very close, from the very beginning Blue was winning, and continued to until the end. Unlike the first round, this round was very short.
Round 3:
Red: 50 Blue: 30
Blue:
Auron: 15/21
Taffer: 12/16
Tree frog: 0/6
Red:
Tanweth: 20/15
Jessica: 20/12
Morpheus: 10/
Paradox left early in this round, and Tree frog joined rather late. Morpheus went spectator just before the match ended, so I cannot exactly find his score. This was a bit of a distracted match because just before it started people were getting really surly with each other.
This round was even less heated than the last. Throughout the match, Red usually had over double the score of Blue. It was also even shorter than Round 2.
